This is a growing annual event that is hosted by the School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas to bring together School-Based Health Center providers, administrators, advocates, and supporters. The School-Based Health Alliance is a non-profit organization that has a mission to improve the health status of children and youth by advancing and advocating for school-based health care.
CONTINUING EDUCATION (in process)
In support of improving patient care, this activity was planned and implemented by the School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas and Moses/Weitzman Health System and its Weitzman Institute and is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Additional CE credits are available for dentists, physician assistants/associates, psychologists, and social workers.
We are approved for CEUs by the Arkansas Department of Education (8432012600000).
*The afternoon before, attendees are invited to tour Parson Hills Elementary School-Based Health Center site visit.
A shuttle will be provided to those who pre-register. The bus will depart from Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas in Rogers at 3:30 PM on April 7 and return at approximately 5:00 PM.
The SBHC offers primary care, behavioral health, and oral health services.
