About Us

The Arkansas School-Based Health Alliance is a non-profit organization which advocates for the provision of high-quality, easily accessible, coordinated health services to the children of Arkansas in a place they spend much of their time: their school. The School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas was founded in 2012 and is the Arkansas voice for school-based health centers (SBHCs). Built from the grassroots up by individuals from state agencies, local school-based health centers, child health and education organizations, we are a true reflection of the field we support. The Arkansas Affiliate of the School-Based Health Alliance advocates for national and state policies, programs, and funding to expand and strengthen SBHCs, while also supporting the movement with training and technical assistance.

We believe that children and adolescents need access to high-quality care that is focused on their needs. Your donation will allow us to reach more children, ensuring they are healthy and ready to learn!
