Empowering School-Based Health in Arkansas
The School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas (SBHAAR) strengthens the capacity and quality of school-based health centers (SBHCs) across the state. Through coaching, mentorship, and professional learning, SBHAAR equips schools and healthcare partners to deliver comprehensive, student-centered care.
Our proven mentorship model, featured in the School-Based Oral Health (SBOH) Program, now in its second year, demonstrates how guided coaching and data-driven improvement can transform services and outcomes. SBHAAR also provides focused leadership and operations coaching for SBHC coordinators through our Spring Symposium and statewide training series.
Beyond oral health, SBHAAR supports all aspects of school-based care-behavioral health, primary care, health equity, and community engagement. By connecting schools, clinics, and partners, we help build a stronger, healthier Arkansas.
