SBHAAR Spring Symposium


This is a growing annual event that is hosted by the School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas to bring together School-Based Health Center providers, administrators, advocates, and supporters. The School-Based Health Alliance is a non-profit organization that has a mission to improve the health status of children and youth by advancing and advocating for school-based health care.

*On April 4th, attendees are invited to tour Fountain Lake School-Based Health Center from 4-6pm. A gathering for guests staying at the Embassy Suites will follow. More details to come.

Be Well is the tobacco quitline for Arkansas. It is a program of the Arkansas Department of Health. Be Well serves all Arkansans aged 13 and up. All callers receive free counseling and health materials. Callers 18 and up receive free nicotine replacement in addition to counseling.

The ADH Office of Oral Health’s mission is to promote life-long, optimum oral health for all Arkansans through primary prevention, education, accessible and culturally competent community-based oral health care, and informed policy development.

The Arkansas Tobacco Education Initiative (ARTEI) was formed to improve the health status of all Arkansans by using evidence-based strategies through program initiatives, promotion of cessation services and recommendations of smoke free policies; to reduce the use of all tobacco products including, electronic nicotine delivery systems within Arkansas.
